Hard Work, Yard Work!
Today I took some time with the boys to teach them the value of hard work and how to operate our new toys, the weed eater and the lawn mower. It's funny how my boys are quite opposite, the oldes does only that that i make him do, while the younger son voluntarily works until theres no work left to do. Both were anxious to get their hands on the new tools, but once the fun part is over my oldest son runs to the basketball goal. I started raking the yard, and my youngest son voluntarily gets his own rake and started helping. Even after I told him it's ok i was only going to do a small portion and stop, he still didn't stop until I did. He really touched my heart. I had to reward him! Now if I can only get my oldest son to follow in his footsteps. Maybe after a few missed treats he'll catch on.

Antibodies and Birth Control Clash
About a week ago, I walked into a shoe store and over heard a guy talking with his co-workers. They were having a conversation about his wife taking birth control and antibotics. These two medications conflicted with one another resulting in his wife becoming pregnant although she was taking birth control. It's well known that some medications do conflict with one another, but the thought of antibiotics and birth control conflicting was very shocking to me.

Creepy Crawlers
Alright guys, spring is officially here, along with all the
creepy crawlers that comes with it! I spent most of my morning doing yard work,
to keep away all the animals that the high grass and woods bring. After the kids left for church to practice Easter
speeches, I went in to relax, only to have a lizard walk right in my closed
front door. I panicked, went to get something to kill it with, because I knew
there was no way I would be able to rest knowing it was in here. I was too
scared to touch it, so I went for some spray. Only thing that I could think of
that kind of smother it and not hurt my carpet was carpet cleaner. Ok, I’m
spraying, he’s running, and I’m screaming! After I finally chase him back out
the door, which wasn’t an easy task, I’m left with a wall full of spray and a
heart racing from all the screaming and jumping. Then once the boys made it
home they’re playing outback on the trampoline, and come running in claiming to
have seen a snake (which very well be the vicious lizard from earlier). On that
note, my next task is to get some lime put down immediately. I said all that to
say, enjoy the weather but be cautious of the resident that comes with it!
