Kemah Texas Boardwalk

Ok guys, I recently took another trip to Houston.  This time I went to the Kemah Boardwalk.  I must say it was like no other boardwalk I have ever been to.  It's like a mini-fair on the waterfront.  It has lots of attractions for visitors such as: boat rides, a mini amusement park, games like a fair, shopping, an aquarium, motels, food, train ride, an horse and carriage, and a live band all at one location. There was a guy there doing magic tricks balancing a burning chair on his chin. As we walked through there were photographers asking to snap pictures that you could purchase if you like, unlike sitting in a boring booth. It was so much fun, and on top of that it's free of charge to enter.  Although I didn't get to experience everything it had to offer, the setting itself was quite an experience.  I can't wait to go back, this is a great place for couples to travel, and its fun for the kids as well.

Aspirin Reduces Risk of Cancer

I recently heard on a radio station that taking an aspirin can reduce the risk of getting cancer.  I was curious to know more about this so I looked it up online.  The cite I viewed stated that taking an aspirin daily will reduce the risk of colon, lung, and prostate cancer. Test were ran on both men and women and after taking spirin for three days the patients risk of cancer was reduced by 25 percent. Plan on looking further into this to see what does the aspirin contain that reduces cancer. I know some illnesses are hereditary. I wonder if it is inherited will the aspirin still be effective in reducing the risk of getting cancer?

famiky first

My mood today is gratefulness. Sometimes we get so perplexed over people that aren't fulfilling their position they hold in our lives that we become blind to the people who are doing beyond whats expected of them.  So thankful for my brother on today. He is my best friend. He's always there when I call regardless of the situation. Not only is he great in my life, but my kids as well, they love and adore him just as much as I do.  Learning not to concentrate on those that aren't... but to be thankful for those that are.

Monitoring Medications

A friend of mine daughter once hyper-active and once very energetic later  began taking medication for it. Seen by two different doctors, they prescribed her two different medications, one to calm her down and the other is an anti-depressant which left her emotionless. When taking those meds she's constantly tired and sleepy. When she able to to stay awake, she's in a drowsy state. She shows no expressions toward excitement. apparently they aren't monitoring these kids closely enough to realizes its true effect. Each doctor should know the patients medical history and any medications that patient is currently taking before giving more prescriptions.
